The Nordic White Ribbon Campaign

Goal The only common goals of the men in the White Ribbon Campaign are the following three personal pledges:
never to commit violence against women,

never to condone violence against women, and

never to remain silent about violence against women.

The goals are limited to these three pledges to enable as many men as possible to join the campaign.

In addition to these pledges,

we do not accept the belief that men genetically or biologically are more violent than women,
we want to stop men's violence by pointing out the causes and the consequences of violence and that masculinity can be realized without violence, and
we think that women should stop women's violence -- as men we want to stop men's violence.
